About Tricopolis Records

Tricopolis Records was founded in 1997 by Mike Nadolson and Walden Dahl. They had both recently recorded solo albums with  top Southern California Bluegrass Artists and were having no luck in getting a record deal from the big label companies.  They turned their frustration into positive motivation and decided to distribute the albums on their own. Here is where the Tricopolis Records adventure begins!

We also found that there was a serious lack of available outlets to purchase Bluegrass and Old-time Music on the West Coast (or any part of the country for that matter) and that is what stimulated the "Take it to the Audience" idea. We now have booths at over 40 Bluegrass Festivals all over the country! 

Along with the booth idea we set up this web site and we are currently offering over 3000 CDs and other items on line specifically targeted to the Bluegrass and Old-time music audience. We are adding items all the time so come back often to see what is new and keep in mind that our Items are In Stock and ready for immediate shipment. If you fax us your order, or call or e-mail us, your CDs will be shipped almost immediately! Also keep in mind that we never authorize payment or charge your Credit Card until the item(s) actually ship!
